Jacob Buckenmyer

CrossFit / Strongman

Accreditation – CrossFit Coach Level 1

Jacob started his fitness journey as a high school athlete, where he was an all state swimmer for four years. Later, in college, he discovered CrossFit as a way to stay fit and look good for the camera. What he didn’t know, was that he’d fall in love with the sport for so many other reasons and has never looked back since. Within his first year of CrossFit, he decided he wanted to help others find this passion too and became a coach. He has since had the opportunity to coach at a handful of boxes, both in Missouri and California and still loves helping other people achieve their goals on their journey to health and become better athletes.

Amanda Counts

Flex RX

MobilityWOD: Mobility and Movement / Flexologist—Stretchlab / CrossFit Level 1 / USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach

I've been an athlete since I was 3.5 years old. It all started with soccer and dance but I truly fell in love with the game of basketball. Injuries cut my career short but finding myself bored, I became very interested in CrossFit. Everything technique caught my interest so now you’ll find me on competition platforms for Olympic weightlifting! Since becoming a stretch therapist my main focus the last couple years has been learning all I can to prevent and/or heal and strengthen injuries.

Fun facts : Ball is life : in junior high, at 12 I helped the team a year older than me become undefeated conference champions with a 22-0 record! The next year in 2003 i scored 36 points (my first game back from my first knee surgery) breaking the all time scoring record for males and females. 15 years and counting I still hold the record!

Chris Piñedo

CrossFit / Gymnastics / Powerlifting / Strongman

CrossFit Level 2 / CrossFit Endurance / CrossFit Weightlifting

Chris has been an instructor and a coach since he was 18. He’s taught all types of movement, close to a decade of instructing gymnastics, and over 15 years competing as a professional Bboy, or break-dancer. He’s taught workshops, given lectures, and judged all over the world, gathering insights and experience about movement in peak expression. Continuing to be a student of the game, Chris his worked under Movement Specialists for gymnastics, gained extensive Endurance knowledge from an engine guru, and acquired an eye for weightlifting from prolific Olympic lifting coaches.

You can’t draw a box around Chris. He develops individual athletes, creates movement, dances, runs, jumps, and lifts heavy weights, but his passion is coaching. Chris will tell you, “I think that the ability to express one’s self through art, movement, and human performance is a firm step on the road to self-discovery. What are we capable of, what is our full potential. Answering the question of what is possible, that’s what drives me as a coach. My job isn’t to make you believe that you can do anything, it is to show you how.”
